(...) This appears to be the 2008-01 release: (URL) is the file that's linked to from the updates CGI that LDView uses for automatic updates. See here: (URL) that the CGI hasn't been updated to reflect the fact that this is 2008-01 instead of (...) (16 years ago, 26-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) Actually with the new license anyone can repackage it as a regular zip. I suspect most zip programs could open the executable zip anyway. But I agree that ldraw.org should make it available in a universal format. I'd guess it just slipped (...) (16 years ago, 26-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad, FTX)
