  LDraw LEGO Ambassadors?

See this post here: (URL) say that the LDraw community qualifies as an AFOL community group, and as such can submit up to three people for consideration. Of course, that doesn't mean one of them would actually be chosen, since LDraw doesn't have any (...) (16 years ago, 1-May-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub 4 Status

(...) Hmmm, a partially obscured window. Sounds like a clue. I'll have to run some tests with a side mounted dock on the G4. And I should probably look back and see what I did on windows when the annoying popup tooltips were driving me nuts. Thanks, (...) (16 years ago, 1-May-08, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LPub 4 Status

(...) Nope. It starts out partially under my dock, which I keep on the left. I can't remember if I ever moved it completely out from under the dock or not, but I'm pretty sure I did. (As a note, I looked around, and it appears that (...) (16 years ago, 1-May-08, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LPub 4 Status

(...) Arrgh, that's not good. It worked for me whenever I had a problem like that. I guess I'll have to use the OSX flush function. Are you by chance using partially transparent windows, or something fancy like that? (...) It's hooked to an ldlite (...) (16 years ago, 1-May-08, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LPub 4 Status

(...) The -n4 didn't have any noticeable effect. What exactly does n4 mean. I know it means "draw to back buffer", but what does the n and the 4 mean? --Travis (16 years ago, 1-May-08, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Complex roofs using LDD

For some time I have been waiting for a full compliment of 45 degree slopes in LDD so I could build more houses using LDD with complex roofs. I decided to stop waiting and see what I could do without all the bricks I wanted in the pallet. The (...) (16 years ago, 30-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.ldd, lugnet.town)

  Re: Help writing LDraw's history

(...) I entered the MLCad dates that Willy posted into the XML building off of Travis' LDView input. I also grouped LDView and MLCad items within comments. The idea would be to push out a new version of the script that renders the timeline to (...) (16 years ago, 30-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

  Re: LPub 4 Status

(...) Hmmm, I guess that's slightly different from the GMA X3100, which seemed to work for me. If you get a chance, try and run it with -n4 on the command line. That should render everything in the back buffer like 99.99% of the opengl programs out (...) (16 years ago, 30-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LD4DStudio Beta 2 Release

(...) I downloaded lddp and discovered it's a bug related to relative directories, I will correct it for beta 3. Roland (16 years ago, 29-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LD4DStudio Beta 2 Release

(...) But it does not work on my machine! I have now made all files ldr, mpd, dat file associations, but I can not call the LDraw Editor from within your prog. WHAT I AM DOING WRONG? cu mikeheide (16 years ago, 29-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LD4DStudio Beta 2 Release

(...) It's not necessary but the detect button 'reads' the information from the registry for the .ldr association. That way you're sure the application and it's parameters are set correctly. Roland (16 years ago, 29-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub 4 Status

(...) Sorry for not responding, but I didn't remember to look at it while I was at home. I'll try to do so tonight. (...) Actually, my Intel MacBook (one of the original ones) has Intel motherboard graphics. Probably a different model than yours, (...) (16 years ago, 29-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LPub 4 Status

(...) Sorry about the self reply, but now I'm really curious about this. I found myself an old G4 EMac with a Geforce2 and OSX Tiger for testing and everything worked ok. It also worked on an Intel Macbook with the Intel GMA X3100 graphics. So I (...) (16 years ago, 29-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LD4DStudio Beta 2 Release

(...) I still have problems with the LDraw Editor to call. As standard L3P is associated with DAT files. Nothing with MPD and LDR files. But why should there be an association if I specify a program. I do not understand that reason. cu mikeheide (16 years ago, 28-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad)
