  Re: PreL3P 1.3 -help :)

(...) Sorry, my wrong! I thought I used the latest version, but I didn't. All variants of the -help switch work on 1.3.1. Time to delete all outdated versions from my HD. :) /Tore (17 years ago, 25-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: PreL3P 1.3 -help :)

(...) Just curious, how'd you end up implementing that? If I recall, unix shells will expand a *.ldr arg for you, but on Windows it's left to the program to do it. Don (17 years ago, 25-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: PreL3P 1.3 -help :)

(...) I've added the ability to process multiple files in one run, but before I release that I'd like to check whether there's any more information regarding this -help issue. Can you confirm whether either of the alternate help options (-h or (...) (17 years ago, 25-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Unseen inner structures

(...) Thanks Ross and all who answered on LDraw.org. Seems the consensus is to model at least a minimum of inner stuff. For the moment, I'll resubmit with a "needs work", as I prefer to work on the delivery of the others NXT parts to the Tracker. (...) (17 years ago, 24-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: PreL3P 1.3 -help :)

(...) For what it's worth, that is the error message that version 1.1 would report given the -help argument. Otherwise, you appear to be using it correctly. Do either of the synonyms "-h" or "--help" work? I can't seem to reproduce the problem. (...) (17 years ago, 22-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Track Designer and Wine/Darwine

  Track Designer and Wine/Darwine

So, I installed Darwine on my MBP, and I was excited, at first, to see that TD.exe worked. I've tried using it a bit, and I've discovered that using the mouse to select things doesn't quite work right. Ctrl Clicking selects multiple objects, and (...)   New Project: DatShine, LDA, PreL3P, L3P, And POV Involved

I have decided to set aside at least one hour a day to the project I just started today by writing this post. The three main goals are: 1. Create a short animation, using the tools mentioned in the subject line above. 2. Write a diary that explains (...) (17 years ago, 20-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Thoughts sought on final newlines

(...) FWIW I'm pretty sure ldglite saves with a newline (of some sort) after every line. And my opinion is that all programs that *create* ldraw data should do that. It's just common courtesy.   Re: Thoughts sought on final newlines

(...) I agree fully on this. A text line is not complete until you have specified the end of it (with EOLN). A LDRAW model consists of text lines, and should IMO end with EOLN. Windows expects 'text' files to end with EOLN, and mistreats them if (...) (17 years ago, 20-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.mac)
