  Re: L3P On Strike

(...) In Windows XP, they should be set by Control Panel / System / Advanced / Environment variables. I put mine in the system variable section. Earlier versions of Windows may be different, although I seem to remember it was always similar. ROSCO (17 years ago, 22-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: L3P On Strike

(...) Yes, it did the trick! I just pasted "SET LDRAWDIR=F:\LDraw" into the batch file and L3P went nicely back to work. Now I have to figure out how to remind Windows please to use its enviroment variables... Thanks again! /Tore (17 years ago, 22-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: L3P On Strike

(...) Sometimes Windows seems to have a hard time remembering environment variables in DOS boxes (I'm sure there's some long, complicated and stupid system to it). Maybe add something to set them to the batch files and see if it works. Tim (17 years ago, 22-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  L3P On Strike

I have used L3P for years, and suddely it went on strike. AutoExec.bat still contains: SET LDRAWDIR=F:\LDraw And the SET command still outputs: LDRAWDIR=F:\LDraw And C:\Windows\ldraw.ini still contains: BaseDirectory=f:\LDraw But running the .bat (...) (17 years ago, 22-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Should MLCad be able to run on Windows Vista?

Subject speaks for it's self. I got a question from a Dutch Lowlug member regarding running MLCad (and other LDraw related software) on Windows Vista. Does anyone have experience in doing so? Thanks. Jaco (17 years ago, 20-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Help need

(...) Si, accosento that the "pipistrello" part is not the best to begin with as an unexperienced LDraw author. I had it in my LDraw todo-bucket before I sold my LEGO collection. I regret that I didn't withhold that bucket from the deal, or I could (...) (17 years ago, 17-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Model scales?

(...) You can do this directly in your LDraw model. The most direct way is to open your model file in a text editor (like Notepad). Then add a new line for your reduced-scale model: 1 16 0 0 0 .5 0 0 0 .5 0 0 0 .5 MyHalfScaleModel.ldr The three .5 (...) (17 years ago, 17-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad)

  Yet Another Color List

As if there weren't enough of color lists, I've also made one myself.. This one is from an L3 user's point of view, that is L3Lab and L3P. So far, it lists colors from ldconfig and Lugnet Color Images Guide, but I may add other sources. For a user (...) (17 years ago, 15-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.color)
