Is the part 4515 slope face granular ?

Hello, is the part 4515 slope face granular (like the 3298 part for exemple) or is it a smooth one ? The LGEO 4515 part appears smooth but I would like a comfirmation of it Jerome (18 years ago, 7-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 56 x 26 Tire and Wheel

(...) It should be "light stone", but that color isn't officially defined in the LDraw system yet. For now, try color 503, which is (old) very light gray. Steve (18 years ago, 7-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 56 x 26 Tire and Wheel

(...) What CAD tool do you use to design parts? One other thing, is there any talk about the chrome color being used for the NXT and motors? These look real funny when rendered because it reflects other objects like a mirror, so the color ends up (...) (18 years ago, 7-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 56 x 26 Tire and Wheel

Hi Brian, (...) None I am aware of... But many other parts have been improved (see (URL) (...) Any good part modeller here (I mean... better than me!) wanting to cope with these parts (55976 and 54087)? Philo (18 years ago, 7-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

  56 x 26 Tire and Wheel

Just wondering if there are models for the tire and wheel included in the final NXT kit? The wheel hub has circles inside instead of the spokes for the preview kits. The tire has sort of an alternating traction design instead of checkerboard. (...) (18 years ago, 6-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

Re: 2006: bad year for LDraw parts

(...) Pretty much the sole reason for this is legal/administrative. It has nothing to do with the amount of effort that has gone into part creation, or the amount of effort that has been put in by the parts admins. A decision was made not to do any (...) (18 years ago, 6-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

Re: 2006: bad year for LDraw parts

(...) Why was I ignored ? I asked first about new parts (URL) Aban says we will end this year without no parts :( and no xmas gifs from ldraw comunity I'm really getting tired of ldraw I hope this doesn't keep every year we have no parts I can (...) (18 years ago, 6-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

  My first atempt on MLCad...

Hello, during the last month I spent some time working with MLCad. After I had read "Virtual LEGO" it was quite easy to use. So here is my first result: (2 URLs) And here is the deep link to the (URL) as pdf-file. This is the (URL) complete folder> (...)   RE: 2006: bad year for LDraw parts

While there may be no official update, a huge amount of effort has gone on behind the scenes ... reduction of the number of held parts on the tracker from an all time high of 331 to the current 144 around 60 of the 100 non-CA parts have been (...) (18 years ago, 6-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

2006: bad year for LDraw parts

Hi, 2006 is almost done and there's still no Official LDraw parts release... I guess this year will end without any update to feed our MLCad :-( (18 years ago, 5-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

  NXT sensor part updates

I did some updating of the unofficial NXT sensor parts. The light sensor now has the orange depression that the real sensor has. The sound sensor now has the horizontal holes in the nose that the real sensor has. I did minor mergining of some (...) (18 years ago, 5-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Comments about James Mathis' Factory Sets

(...) Hi Ville, Wow, thanks for sharing all of that great feedback on these Factory sets. That's a lot of useful information for anyone considering these sets.   Re: // Empty model errors in POV-Ray

(...) I haven't seen that problem with L3PAO myself. <advert> Personally, I dropped L3PAO a while ago and wrote a replacement, which IMO has a few more useful features and is slightly more up to date. L3PGen can be downloaded from: (URL) comments (...) (18 years ago, 3-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

Re: TCLTC Layouts Rendered in Sketch-up

(...) It appears rippled because it is rippled in the photo from which it was taken. There was no intentional rippling (I think that's a 5 yard penalty and a loss of down!) JOHN (18 years ago, 4-Dec-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Any Interest in a Program for Creating/Editing Parts?

(...) Thanks for the updated links! The page listed in the earlier post appears to be out of date. (It has version 031 of LDS, and a broken link to your page.) It seems that there is a lot of great software already out there, which is not (...) (18 years ago, 4-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)
