(...) Thanks. However, the UnofficialFiles should be Unofficial in order to work with the directory created by LDView. Version 528 of the Library can be found on my website now, 8 new pieces have been added, 2 pieces have been changed. The Reference Gallery has been updated to version 528 too now. Many of these new pieces are required to build the locomotive of the (...) (18 years ago, 22-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Hi Mike, Such a task would not be easy at all (although should be possible if you rely on human input to rub out mistakes). My susggestion would actually to have two programs... one to de-project and make a bitmap image and another to (...) (18 years ago, 22-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad)

If you plan to use the parts in any other program, you'll have to either copy them to your parts directories, or add the <ldraw>/Unofficial/p and <ldraw>/Unofficial/parts directories to the (...) (...) I suspect that Orion was correct, but he got the syntax wrong. (LDView has very odd command line syntax. I know I made up the syntax, but that doesn't change the fact that even I think it's weird. Maybe I'll improve it in the future, while (...) (18 years ago, 22-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad)

I thought about a tool to easily author patterned parts. It should be used like quad2dat but with the following change: If a part is scanned with a scanner and the part is not flat it should be able to use the curvature of the part (that already has (...) (18 years ago, 21-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad)
