  Re: Hangin' around

(...) As a former Climbing Instructor, I think this is particularly cool. I have been trying to find a good solution for buildng a LEGO climbing wall, and I am now kicking myself for not thinking of just making the walls "sideways' Well Done! Karl (18 years ago, 14-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) That is lovely. Really great use of rendering techniques to achieve something out of the ordinary. Tim (18 years ago, 14-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: Hangin' around

Very cool. Ok, I live by the sea and get a vertigo above everything higher 2 meters, so maybe I'm not an expert in climbing. But the dramatic view of the picture is excellent. Very good application of virtual lego. And an additional extra bonus (...) (18 years ago, 14-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Hangin' around

Hi folks, have you ever heard of "El Capitan", "Matterhorn" or "Cerro Torre"? Ever seen Sly in "Cliffhanger" or Robin Tunney in "Vertical Limit? You're an adrenaline junkie or are at least heavily depending on fresh air? Then check out my latest (...) (18 years ago, 14-Aug-06, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad, FTX) !!

Re: 1-3 cyli, disc, edge - what's the best way?

Scratch that! Just found the 1-3 primitives lurking in the p\48 directory DOH!!! (18 years ago, 14-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

1-3 cyli, disc, edge - what's the best way?

I recently needed a set of 1-3 circular primitives (120 degrees) Before even addressing if these should be official primitives (as opposed to sub-parts), what do people consider the "best" way of constructing these? a) overlapping two 1-4 (or 3-16) (...)   Re: 2 Part requests.

Thanks Travis, I'll have to remember that for next time. Thomas, I got the file you sent me and it works just fine... But it's missing a quad. The file shows this: Line #86: 4 16 20 0 -15 20 2 -15 20 2 -12 20 0 -10 Line #87: 4 16 20 2 -15 -20 2 -15 (...) (18 years ago, 14-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  Re: 2 Part requests.

Most of the problems you saw are a result of the file being posted in FTX mode. You can eliminate all but two BFC errors by doing the following: Click the "View Raw Message" link at the top right of Thomas's post Select all the DAT code Copy the (...)   Re: Error in the COLOUR meta command specification?

(...) No, if it is hex, then it is an RGB value and not a color code. /Lars (18 years ago, 12-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 2 Part requests.  [DAT]

Part 2431px17.dat works great. However part x461.dat has issues. Heres the errors from LDVIEW. Thanks again. First BFC command isn’t the first action in file; changing to NOCERTIFY. File: D:JeffreyLDrawPARTSx461.dat Line #6 Line: 0 BFC CERTIFY (...) (18 years ago, 13-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)
