LDGLite 1.0.18 for OS X now sets LDRAWDIR correctly

Thanks to Erik Knopp we discovered that the set-ldrawdir.command script that shipped with LDGLite 1.0.18 was not correctly setting the ldrawdir value for users who placed their ldraw directories in their user libraries (~/Library/ldraw). That error (...) (19 years ago, 2-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

  Re: The LDraw MOCs tour

(...) Heck this is right up my alley! Here's the link: * (URL) 13 MOCs, most are variations on the Blacktron theme * The as-yet-not-formally-released clone.dat library is needed * Extensive (bordering on exclusive) use of unofficial parts! Thanks (...) (19 years ago, 2-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: LDraw Animation - Why MPD?

(...) (* off-topic discussion *) To create a matrix the OCaml code is: let x = Array.make_matrix nrow ncol 0.0 I acknowledge: * OCaml is not widely used * even more esoteric than Perl would be a complete turn off * popular is not a word I would (...) (19 years ago, 1-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Bag inventories now available in LDD format!

Several industrious guys (Larry, Adrian, Dan, probably some others I'm neglecting) have figured out the part bags that LF is using for its pricing, and how to convert these into files that can be used directly within LEGO Digital Designer! By (...) (19 years ago, 1-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX) !!

Air Hockey table on LEGO Factory

I've made a minifig-scale air hockey table, as well as I could given the LEGO Factory constraints and the desire to keep the price as close to reasonable as I could (which is to say, I built it from a single kit — this was before the bag inventories (...)   Re: Am I the only person who finds Lego CAD systems infuriating?

(...) "Infuriating" is a rather strong word, but I definitely find all the LEGO CAD systems I have tried suboptimal. Unfortunately I'm a lazy bastard who spends more time thinking about how to solve the problems than actually solving them. (...) I (...)   Re: Dinosaur Body Neck/Tail Ring (40375)

(...) Wow, it looks like you got a long way on it. But I don't think I'm the one to finish it at this time... I'm actually using the neck ring for a smokestack on a steam train, and idea I got from Jeremy Rear. -Matt :) ---...--- (...) (19 years ago, 31-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Idea for better LEGO Factory building

(...) Me too, actually, as long as no elements not from the palettes are introduced. I may have missed something when I perused the XML looking for things that it might key off, though. (19 years ago, 31-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)
