  Re: LDD Help Needed

(...) Hey no fair – you guys get a documentation folder?!? There's no such thing in the Mac version. (...) Well, the mouse does a decent job of that. What I'm more concerned about is: how do I rotate a brick in anything other than 90-degree (...) (19 years ago, 25-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: BNSF Dash 9

(...) Hi Shaggie, That render nearly fooled me. How do you get the focus in POVray. I see that your camera has a definite focal point and blurring for more distant parts. Yours, Tim (19 years ago, 25-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

  Requirements for Mac LDD

Re: MLCAD mirrored submodels - Help please

Thanks guys - I've more or less understood it now, but I'll dig about a bit more too. Can't believe I chose 8862 to put together as my first model. Angled components, pneumatic tubes and pumps as well as the two digger buckets, which as far as I can (...) (19 years ago, 25-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: The Minifig Macro - walk that minifig

(...) Yes, I started my LDA2001 project in the second half of the year 2001. In September 2001, I put the project on ice and have just made a handful of lame attempts to restart it. I may have the time to pick it up by the middle of September this (...) (19 years ago, 25-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.animation)

(...) Very cool. Which IDE did you use.. XCode 2.0 ? I just installed XCode 2.1 on the new iBook. Very spiffy stuff. Ray (19 years ago, 25-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  Re: Announcing Bricksmith for Macintosh

(...) [snip] (...) Well, not actually required; rather, that location was recommended. Both LDGLite and Mac Brick Cad will use an LDRAW library where ever it is as long as you set the location using the Preferences panel. I think the programmers (...)   Re: Announcing Bricksmith for Macintosh

(...) Well, I suppose that as long as we're stuck with lawyers in our society, we have to face realities like this. We don't have to like it, though. (...) Making LDRAW-using apps harder to use doesn't really help this, though. People who stick with (...) (19 years ago, 25-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  Re: Announcing Bricksmith for Macintosh

(...) Yes, that's my setup too. This machine is actually owned by my company, which is too cheap to buy me a cinema display, but is happy to buy me two 15" displays. And there are some minor advantages to this setup (mostly, if one dies, I can live (...) (19 years ago, 25-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  Re: LDD Help Needed

(...) This is the second time I've read about "secret keyboard shortcuts" in LDD. What exactly is the point of keeping features secret from the users? I'm not interested in some kind of stupid scavenger hunt - I would just like to use the program to (...) (19 years ago, 25-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: My humble opinion about LDraw animation

It appears from this discussion that methods already exist, its just that they are not particularly easy to use or accessible. Whatever solution we choose, we need to think about usability. I am a developer, and even I dont like having pull things (...) (19 years ago, 25-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.animation)

Re: MLCAD mirrored submodels - Help please
