  Re: No PLI in Layout

(...) The fix is in my development version of LPub and will be released soon. Kevin (19 years ago, 13-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Restrict pars to LEGO set in MLCad?

(...) I'm not exactly sure what's happened to Anders' memory, but ldglite has included support for Drag&Drop from ldlist for years now. (URL) can drag the parts into ldglite and save the file for use in mlcad. Or you might be able to paste a set (...) (19 years ago, 13-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Restrict pars to LEGO set in MLCad?

(...) Anders thank you so much for your suggestion. It may not get me all the way but it is a big leap from where I am currently at. :-) Is LDRAW or MLCad open source? If it is I may look into trying to add the functionality to the program if it is (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Restrict pars to LEGO set in MLCad?

(...) Yes, and no. It would be easy to work with real life parts but either as I add each part I will need to add the part in MLCad or once I am done with the model I will need to build it backwards in MLCad while I am disassembling it. The biggest (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Restrict pars to LEGO set in MLCad?

(...) Wouldn't this be best down with "the real thing" and some floor space? At least then you can adjust things easily if you need parts later on and you know exactly what is left. (19 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Restrict pars to LEGO set in MLCad?

(...) My LDList program (search for LDRAW parts) has the beginnings of this functionality, you can load a set list and only see the parts in that set, and the number of parts remaining, but it does not keep tab of different colours. Unfortunately (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Restrict pars to LEGO set in MLCad?

I would like to build some custom creations in MLCad that could be built using a paticular set. For example say take the LEGO set 7241 "Fire Car" and make a race car out of it. That way when I am done with the custom creations people will know they (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Who is UR on Brickshelf

(...) the .ldr files have now been uploaded, if you haven't already seen (URL) (19 years ago, 11-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

Re: I am Happy!!! (was Re: Transparent parts (small))

(...) The Delphi library Graphics32 ((URL) can probably be used by C++Builder too. It contains lots of routines for graphics processing, for example downsampling. You can explore different methods there. (19 years ago, 10-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: I am Happy!!! (was Re: Transparent parts (small))

(...) I would suggest (at least initially) to keep it simple. Only support reduction by a factor of two, and then simply average each group of 4 pixels. This should produce a dramatic quality improvement, and be very easy to implement. --Travis (19 years ago, 10-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)
