Any chance that someone has taken a stab at this monstrosity of a challenge? Or might be planning on doing so anytime in the near future? A quick search on LDRAW.org doesn't turn up anything so I'm not hopeful but I thought I'd ask ... Thanks, Shaun (20 years ago, 27-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Some comments on the LPub 2.2.0.9 beta

(...) Is that InstallShield Express? In short, forget it! May I recommend the free InnoSetup by Jordan Russel? (URL) + the 3:rd party add-on IsTool beats most professional packages, and may also be used commercially. (20 years ago, 27-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad)

Some comments on the LPub 2.2.0.9 beta

Kevin, here are some comments on the LPub 2.2.0.9 beta. Some may also be valid for the 2.2.0.2 version but I observed all of them in the 2.2.0.9 beta version .... 1. The install program does not recognize where an earlier version was installed to. (...) (20 years ago, 27-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad)

  How to make custom parts?

First I'd like to say sorry for asking the question you guys probably get asked more often then you like. I searched and found a thread on it but the link to the FAQ at ldraw.org was bad.   Some comments on LPub - rotations

(...) I have to correct myself. It does not seem to work, but then as I re-read your answer, it seems that the fixed version is still in the pipe and not yet in 2.2.0.9 beta, true ? Thanks Andy (20 years ago, 26-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Some comments on LPub

(...) One way to adress this is to keep the setting in memory also as a string, and never convert on the way of loading a config file into memory and saving it to a file again. Only when the setting is used to do calculations, it is converted from (...) (20 years ago, 26-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad)
