  Re: LDGlite and LPub

(...) Not yet. The current release always picks -4/3*x for the aspect ratio. I know the negative sign is required to convert the y axis from ldraw coords to POV. I'm not sure how that gets worked into the upcoming version of l3p, which does have a (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Problem creating .pov using LGEO parts in L3PAdd-on

(...) Maybe you have a Libray_Path wrong in POV, so it's looking for include files in the wrong place? POV: 'Tools' -> 'Edit Master POVRAY.INI', go to the end of the file, You may have any number of lines like these: Library_Path=C:\Program\POV-Ray (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: LDGlite and LPub

(...) The 4/3 is the aspect ratio of the POV generated rendering (matches 800x600, 1024x768, 1600x1200 etc.). If you for some reason want POV to do a high, narrow (or low, long), rendering this factor has to be changed. It's often easier to do a (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Problem creating .pov using LGEO parts in L3PAdd-on

(...) Hi Tim, I have everything running on my E drive, so it is possible. :-) Here's my thought... There should be an LDRAW.INI file in your Windows directory. Make sure you have the "LgeoDirectory" entry set correctly under the "[LDRAW]" section, (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: LDGlite and LPub

(...) I assume that L3P allows the output to be any aspect ratio. The page is a little confusing that way. However, it's trying to tell you how the camera angle argument works, going on the assumption you haven't changed the aspect ratio. Just (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Click-Rotation Parts

(...) Why do high-res primitives make it easier to realize? Considering the size of this object, I'd lean toward needing to reduce it. Steve (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Click-Rotation Parts  [DAT]

(...) Sorry but there is no finished part yet. (...) I could send you a nearly finished part (48169) where the bottom is open. But else it's finished. To Steve Bliss or Chris Dee: I've made the cylinder-thing with high-res- primitives because it was (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: LDGlite and LPub

(...) aspect ratio is always maintained even if the (horizontal) viewing angle is changed"? Does l3p not allow tall skinny windows? Should (width/height) always be (4/3) even if the window is tall and skinny? Or does it just mean the pov file will (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Problem creating .pov using LGEO parts in L3PAdd-on

(...) No, sorry, its not either of them, L3PAO knows the location correctly. the filename is ccb2.pov (mirroring the .mpd filename) and so it is not too long and has no spaces. I don't think its a problem with your auto-installer, I used to get the (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)
