I sent Edwin an email direclty as LUGNET was not allowig me to post for some reason. =( In any case my response was that the AIO installer is only updated once a quater (every 3 months) so for the time being it would NOT have the latest parts (...) Finally, my fair (if not terrible) first attempt at part authoring is ready for submission (as soon as parts@ldraw.org lets me). What a learning experience! It took 12 version saves to get "close". And I'm sure there's more to learn after the (...) (20 years ago, 19-Sep-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) This project seems pretty old, but you've set me on the right track. PNG provides compression like JPG and no loss of image quality like BMP. Plus POV-Ray supports alpha channel with PNG. These three combined set me off on the task of (...) (20 years ago, 17-Sep-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)
