Re: New tutorial: Running LSynth through MLCad's interface

(...) good point. I'll fix it with the next site update. anyway to give a short answer now: mlcad 3.11, lsynth 2.0, no specific order needed, but it is wise to install mlcad first to spot errors with the part-library. (...) :-))) w. (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Hard to find parts and part names

(...) Another hard to find part is the castle goblet (2343). It doesn't even have Minifig in the partname. (URL). As a non native english speaking person, a goblet is not a word I use much. The part is used in other themes than castle as well. Niels (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: Contributer Agreement v2

(...) I'd like a no-cost restriction. In other words, anything covered can be distributed for free. This doesn't mean you can't charge, it just means that you don't have to charge. Or maybe all this is implied by the above? Do we need to explicitly (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Contributer Agreement v2

(...) Yes, you're right, a combo of 1 & 2 should cover 3. When I was trimming so much out of your license I should have been more careful in adding bits :) Can anyone think of anything that ought to be in 'Base Level' of rights ? Peter (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

(...) <snip> I like the rest of your comments so I've snipped them out. I do have a qustion on the below. (...) Isn't 3 redundant and cover by the 1? -Orion (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: What is the partnumber for this minifig tool?

(...) That one is hard for me to find because it's listed as a minifig accessory, while many of the others seem to be listed as minifig tools. Beats me why. Seems more like a tool to me. Maybe it doesn't come on a tool ring? Actually I guess it's (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Blender/LDraw work for SIGGRAPH

I'm happy to see people talking a bit about Blender and LDraw here.   Re: LEGO Digital Designer 1.2 Available

Re: LEGO Digital Designer 1.2 Available

(...) You shouldn't need an internet connection to run LDD. The only thing it does is check if there's a new version available before running - nothing else is transmitted. What exactly happens when you try and run it? -- Marc (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad)
