Re: Variants of 4.5v train motors

<SNIP> Thanks Niels for taking the time to research this. I have updated the part names based on this information - to remove the voltage designation and correct the dimensions. Regarding your comment "The parts look good, I only miss metal (...) (20 years ago, 29-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: *** MLCad V3.10 is available ***

How does that scan_order thing work? I've added three more paths in mlcad.ini, but the parts in these folders don't show up anywhere in MLCad. [SCAN_ORDER] 1 = SHOW Parts 2 = HIDE Parts\s 3 = HIDE P 4 = HIDE P\48 5 = SHOW NewParts 6 = HIDE (...) (20 years ago, 29-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Baseplate 24 x 32 Fire-House with Set 347 Dot Pattern

(...) Niels There is an image of this baseplate on Brickshelf ((URL) and Steve Bliss and I agreed ((URL) that in this case it would be acceptable to author parts from these images (only the real part photos - not the instruction scans). If you can (...) (20 years ago, 29-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Baseplate 24 x 32 Fire-House with Set 347 Dot Pattern  [DAT]

When I was building set 347 in LDraw, I noticed that the dots on the baseplate did not correspond with the walls in the instructions. I changed the dots using the instructions. As I don't have this baseplate in real, I don't know how the dots are in (...) (20 years ago, 29-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: The L PRIZE Pre-Launch: Call for Volunteers, Sponsors, Donations

(...) Yes. I'll see to it that the website indicates that more clearly. The full website will spell out specifics of the competition in detail, once the contest launches in August. Thanks for your interest. -Tim (20 years ago, 29-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.events, lugnet.edu, FTX)

Re: The L PRIZE Pre-Launch: Call for Volunteers, Sponsors, Donations

(...) Dumb question, but what is the competition about? Writing new Lego CAD software? Thanks, Gary (20 years ago, 28-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.events, lugnet.edu, FTX)

  Parts Tracker Page Style Updated

I've (finally) gone through the Parts Tracker pages, and updated the style to more closely resemble the page layout on the rest of ldraw.org. Please let me know if you find something I missed - or messed up! (URL) (20 years ago, 28-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Variants of 4.5v train motors

Hi We have a collection of 4.5V train motors on the LDraw Parts Tracker, and I'd like some help sorting out the variants of this part.   Re: Quick way to mirror-image a model?

Oops, I missed replying to one point. (...) If you mean (-1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1) as the 'default' matrix, my response is: that default matrix works for *any* reflection across any arbitrary plane. If you mean (-1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1) as the reflection (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Quick way to mirror-image a model?
