(...) You made no mention of part list images per step, for entire sub-model, sub-model BOM, entire BOM. LEGO's Building Instruction use all of these techniques on some what or another. (...) Yes. I think that step images is better than BBI's. Step images is generic. Part list images are one kind, and construction images are the other. "snip" (...) You are right.. Thanks for this. Perhaps another set of words for BBI would be best? I like your "step images" word. "snip" (...) Yes I mean animated version of BIs. Something interesting that can into the LDraw Help Desk email: Have you seen Moray? (URL) It is basically a graphical interface for POV-Ray. I thought it would be a very powerful, easy to use program for rendering lego. Like, you can rotate around (...) (21 years ago, 13-Sep-03, to lugnet.cad, FTX)
