Hi there! The latest batch of LDraw part files have been posted in the 2003-02 update. There are some 160 files in this release, including about 45 new parts. One of the reasons there are so many updated files is that we've started to convert (...) (21 years ago, 1-Aug-03, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad) !!

(...) Chris, Unfortunately the answer isn't necessarily simple. In the parts files included with Brickdraw 3d, I found an error in part 590 (Train Engine). (...) I really would prefer that the origin be plugin compatible with 193 just like Minifig Helmet and Visor.
