  Re: LPub request  [DAT]

(...) Even with the PLIST command, I still get a part not in PARTS.LST error unless I turn off the file checking. Here the example: 0 Test Axle 0 Name: Taxle.dat 0 Author: Orion Pobursky 0 Unofficial Model 0 PLIST BEGIN SUB 32199.dat 1 7 -30 -110 (...) (22 years ago, 21-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: L3PAO Look-a-like for Linux ?

ummm unless I'm mistaken, MLCAD doesn't create POV files or interface to L3P. L3P does create POV files, but it's a commandline tool and, like I said, I've been spolied by L3PAO which is a GUI front end to L3P : ) (...) (22 years ago, 21-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad)

Re: new setup trouble - missing parts

(...) I started from scratch, starting with an ldraw installation (thank you Don Dueck for the instructions), and now I have all the parts. Thanks, Amy (22 years ago, 20-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: L3PAO Look-a-like for Linux ?

(...) I'm not sure about the WINE aspect of your problem, but you might be able to fool L3PAO into using ldglite instead of ledit by renaming the linux ldglite executable to ledit or ledit.exe. It might even start up in ledit emulation mode when (...) (22 years ago, 20-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad)

new setup trouble - missing parts

I'm having trouble in MLCAD with missing parts. As I browse through the parts list I keep getting dialogs telling me "15.DAT not found! Continue loading?". I get this for a minority of parts, but there are a lot of these warnings. Here's how I got (...) (22 years ago, 20-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad)

  L3PAO Look-a-like for Linux ?

OK, I'm lazy :P I love the combination of MLCAD and POV-Ray for making renderings of LEGO(R) projects and I've been totally spoiled by L3PAO. Now that I've moved almost everything off my Windows Partition and I'm working under Linux, I *REALLY* miss (...) (22 years ago, 20-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub request

(...) OK, I used the PLIST BEGIN command and I'm still getting the s/faxle1.dat not found in the PARTS.LST file error. I think (but haven't tried) that this problem will exist for any model that uses file from the /S directory. -Orion (22 years ago, 20-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)
