L3PAO Look-a-like for Linux ?

OK, I'm lazy :P  I love the combination of MLCAD and POV-Ray for making
renderings of LEGO(R) projects and I've been totally spoiled by L3PAO.
  Now that I've moved almost everything off my Windows Partition and
I'm working under Linux, I *REALLY* miss L3PAO.  It can't seem to find
ledit when run under WINE so it refuses to run : ( I was thinking to
myself that it would be a good project for me to un-learn VB and
learn C under Linux to build a gui app like it, but we just had our
first child and bought a house so I have zero time : (  Does such an
app already exist ?

(...) I'm not sure about the WINE aspect of your problem, but you might be able to fool L3PAO into using ldglite instead of ledit by renaming the linux ldglite executable to ledit or ledit.exe. It might even start up in ledit emulation mode when (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad)
