  New Poll on LDraw.org

Finally! It was a combination laziness and uh, laziness that kept the previous poll online so long. After hacking a few pages, I present you with a new poll. (URL) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Color problem- is this a bug in L3P?

(...) There are some valid reasons for putting a single part in a subfile, like to work around a part's awkward origin and/or orientation. (...) Whoa, there- I'm not getting down on LPub at all. I'm just saying that LPub has limitations when (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: MOC: Airwolf helicopter

Re: Help needed with cond. lines

(...) Looking at how the geometry is layed out, I think you've hit a limitation in LDView's smoothing algorithm. In other words, the lack of smoothness is caused by a problem with LDView, not by a problem with your layout. The basic cause of the (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Camera Positioning

  MOC: Airwolf helicopter

Hi all, After many years I finally found out that there was a program called LDraw in which I could put my old MOC airwolf, with retractable weapons. I'm working on the building instructions of the helicopter right now. (Yippie I can almost use the (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.build, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.cad)

  Camera Positioning

Maybe someone can point me in the right direction... I have an object with a known bounding box, how do I calculate the position of the camera so that the whole object is shown on a screen of known dimentions?   More Moonbase Madness ...

OK, I just spent 12 hours using MLCAD to create a whole bunch of Moonbase corridors, adapters, and inter-connection modules.   Re: MLcad Technic fig

(...) I this tread, we've got 3 so far; do we need a poll? BTW a technic figure generator like the minifig generator would be cool to try new colors, etc. Jeff (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.technic)

Re: Color problem- is this a bug in L3P?

(...) L3P has a bug with part colors when there is a single part in a sub-file. In this case, you need to ask yourself why you have this case. It seems overkill to have side.ldr with just one part in it. None the less, it is a bug in L3P. (...) LPub (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.cad.ray)
