  Minifog Torso diagonal Edge

The pattern I am working on has a lot of fine detail that is pretty close to the edge. The large diagonal edge on each side is giving me some trouble... Just using one trapezoid from the top edge corner to the bottom (taking up the whole diagonal) (...) (22 years ago, 22-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Orientation of part x464.dat

(...) Oh. You're right. I saw it as a brick rather than a slope. :o) /Tore (22 years ago, 22-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Orientation of part x464.dat

(...) No, it should (and does) have the same orientation as other sloped parts: the primary slope faces the Z- axis. Steve (22 years ago, 21-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: How accurate need bricks to be?

(...) Yes, this is the "rule" we try to apply - if the detail is functional, then it should be included, if decorative or an artifact of the moulding process then it may be ignored. So in your two examples, I would expect to see the small lugs on (...) (22 years ago, 21-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad)

Sticker parts numbers (was Re: How accurate ....)

(...) Where we stil have access to the sticker sheet I believe there was agreement to use the sticker sheet number with a one-letter suffix for each unique sticker on the sheet. Hence 168135a et seq submitted to the PT by Imre Papp. A brief review (...) (22 years ago, 21-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: #902 / Old parts

(...) Alright, a crude mockup is posted at lugnet.cad.dat.parts. It should be quite useful, since when built in a model, the simplifications will be hard to discover. (22 years ago, 21-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Rotation of Systems

[X-posted to .mlcad] (...) While I can't help because of what Orion revealed here (I'm no programmer!), perhaps Michael Lachmann can help. I have discovered that a simple way to (as a user) rotate around one object's origin is to select the origin (...) (22 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Rotation of Systems

  Re: Rotation of Systems

Here's a clarification of my question: I'm creating a minifig generator plugin for LDDesignPad (possibly a stand alone version as well). I'm having trouble rotating the arm, hand, tool assembly about the origin of the arm. Using an inline procedure (...) (22 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

I thought I'd throw my contribution into the frey: (URL) (Warning to modem users, 259K) Took about 45 minutes to render on my machine. One thing though, the colors seem to be "washed out". Is there anyway to fix this? -Orion (22 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.starwars)
