Re: Big Train Wheels for 7750

(...) hey jeroen, hate to say it but i think 7750 was lost when my comp crashed a few years ago, so the file for the wheel is gone (23 years ago, 13-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Self-Certifications

Hello Chris, (...) Nice that you did this experiment.. On the long run it would be nice if you did not only remove the self-certifications but also review other parts instead. There won't be any throughput when nobody is reviewing any parts... and (...) (23 years ago, 13-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: new part - x460, container suitcase

(...) Great part. I really think that the handle must be at 0,0,0 - at least when suitcase is closed. /Tore (23 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: BFC and Primitives

(...) Correct polygon wrapping and CW or CCW orientation are highly desirable. I am just sorry I am not one of the "expert" reviewers that ldraw.org needs. Having more reviewers involved in LDraw tools would be much better. Damien (23 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: New Parts - Shield ovoid with dragon pattern

  Re: Track Designer Registry

(...) Do you still have the zip file I sent you? That would save me having to redo what I did for you already. And my memory would have been better back then! Matt (23 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

Re: General question on ldr and mpd files ...

(...) Well, actually LDView won't load the file whether or not it's in MPD format. Given that LDView isn't designed to work from the command line (although you CAN specify a filename on the command line), it doesn't contain any auto-extension (...) (23 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Track Designer Registry

I got the source, started making changes to be able to run it under linux but when I graduated and started working my free time was reduced drastically and I couldn't continue working on it. :( Leonardo (...) (23 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

  Re: Multi Part Files?

(...) If you are using the original ldraw.exe program, you won't have any luck with MPD files. LDraw.exe doesn't understand them. If you are using some other LDraw-compatible program, such as ML-CAD or LDLite, you shouldn't be having any problem (...) (23 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: General question on ldr and mpd files ...

(...) Interesting. I guess that's a valid way to process MPDs, I was expecting/hoping programs were a bit more flexible. With the current situation, you can take a group of functioning LDR files, convert them to MPD (using an MPD tool), and the MPD (...) (23 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Track Designer Registry

(...) According to this thread, it looks like the source may have gone to Leonardo. (URL) think he still monitors the CAD groups so he might see this. I'm sure this has probably been discussed to death, but why not create a sourceforge account and (...) (23 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

  Re: Track Designer Registry

(...) Congrats on the new addition! (...) Sounds good, I haven't heard anything from the people you gave it to so I too assume that they changed their minds on the upgrades.
