Re: mesh object transition for animation in Pov-Ray question

I had the same problem with wheels, you need to rotate the piece where it is declared, ie: #declare _3649_dot_dat = #if (QUAL = 0) box { <-52.99,-52.99,-10>, <52.99,52.99,10> } #else union { object { axlehol5_dot_dat matrix (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad)

mesh object transition for animation in Pov-Ray question

I'm trying to animate the geartrain for my lego clock. This code is out of the pov-ray help file #include "colors.inc" camera { location <0, 3, -6> look_at <0, 0, 0> } light_source { <20, 20, -20> color White } plane { y, 0 pigment { checker color (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Font too small for Mac

(...) Noooo! Just make things right. Also, all those annoying, much too wide tables, makes the site almost completely unusable for me (unless I use lynx). If you want to make a multi-column layout, please do it with CSS. Jacob (23 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.publish)

(...) Certainly! But I think Tim actually has _tried_ to move closer to the intentions with HTML with this redesign. I have not had time to look properly at the pages yet, so I can not say how close he managed to get. (...) :-) Jacob (23 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.publish)

Re: 1 question on MLCAD does it have a part limit like Ldraw?

(...) That would be Great. I figured MLCad was only limited to your sytems specs. I have a Very powerful system that the Company provided me with.:-) Though it would be nice to know if anyone reached 12,000 or more? (23 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

1 question on MLCAD does it have a part limit like Ldraw?

Hello, You are all aware that LDraw has that 1000 part limit and then must be sub-constructed. What my question is, does MLCad have the same limit or is it unlimited? My projects (Castle) do not really have or a conducive for Sub-models in Quantity. (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: Known bugs on the site and how to report new ones

1. I don't know about anyone else, but the Downloads column of each of the various OS download pages (all of which say "Not Yet Available") make it sound like none of the tools can be downloaded yet. Perhaps it should be something like "# of (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
