Hello CAD folks, Does anyone have any ideas on publications (magazines, trade publications, web sites, etc.) where I can send press releases about the LDraw.org events at BricksWest 2002? Tim Courtney and I figure CADWire and Slashdot are good bets, (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: New posters on LegoTrainPoster-page

(...) Outstanding poster. And thanks for the train set files as well. I do have a couple of questions. Do you have all of the dat files in a single zip file? Also, where did you get the dat file for the 9V train track? I can't seem to find that (...) (23 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets, lugnet.loc.nl)

Re: Castle wall 4444p03 with inverted pattern ??

(...) The wall part included in set 6074 does not have the black lines pattern inverted. I have no idea where this auction part comes from. Damien (23 years ago, 30-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad)

Castle wall 4444p03 with inverted pattern ??

The yellow castle wall part in this auction (not mine) (URL) to have the black lines pattern inverted. Is this known or just a printing error? Chris (23 years ago, 30-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Tutorial Subject List (was: Re: The LDraw Community is what each person makes it)

Don Heyse wrote in message ... (...) OK, that worked (putting it in the same directopry as the file I was working with). Not quite as convenient as it could be, but still better than adding lines to the dat file between MLCad and LDLite. Thanks for (...)   Re: Tutorial Subject List (was: Re: The LDraw Community is what each person makes it)

(...) Right now it only looks in the current directory. Depending on how you launch ldlite this may be the directory with the main model file. Since this isn't as useful as it could be, I'm sure it'll be changed in a future release. There was some (...) (23 years ago, 30-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: The Blacktron Arrow

Hi John, (...) Yes, the hoses are pretty cool I thought. I used a spreadsheet that I got from this webpage: (URL) not exactly sure whose web page it is, but the spreadsheet on it works well. Basically it uses a bezier curve function to calculate (...) (23 years ago, 30-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space, lugnet.cad)

Blacktron Contest Entry: One Man Shuttle

Hi, Here is my second entry for the Blacktron I space contest: (URL) is a small one man shuttle with 2 transport holds.   Re: x191 & x192 part in the Parts tracker

Hello Ludo, (...) There (...) I am/Was the reviewer. It is a very nice part. IMHO the wire should be removed and made a subpart of it. This subpart should be very very short so that you can use a tool like the Emacs Bendable thingie Creater to model (...) (23 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

x191 & x192 part in the Parts tracker

Hi, I looked to the parts tracker review for my posted parts x191 & x192. There seems to be an overlay error, and the reviewer * Deckard * thinks that i should remove the electric wire. I can do this verry easily, so this means also that both pieces (...) (23 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  LDRAW crash

Hi, Two questions: 1) Can someone tell me why i get an ERROR 216 when starting LDRAW? The file gives no problem when i run it with L3LAB.   Re: Tutorial Subject List (was: Re: The LDraw Community is what each person makes it)

Don Heyse wrote in message ... (...) Yes, MLCad complains when you have a line like this in the file. It does still load the file but it chucks out the line when you save the file in MLCad. So if you're going to use this with MLCad you'll need to (...) (23 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Tutorial Subject List (was: Re: The LDraw Community is what each person makes it)

Don Heyse wrote in message ... (...) This is great info Don! Is there a specific directory ldliterc.dat needs to go into?   Re: The Blacktron Arrow

(...) S'Cool. Having done my entry in MLCAD/POVRay as well, I gotta ask: "How'd you do the hoses?" I was gonna add some (it doesn't seem completely BT1 w/o yellow hoses), but trying to build the things segment by segment caused much blurriness of (...)
