  Re: LDraw on Linux

Jaco: (...) It isn't on the SuSE CD's? I got it from (URL) those packages may be slightly too Red Hat specific. I'll include a complete list of the development and library packages on my system. It might help (but it could also just be confusing). (...) (23 years ago, 9-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Author key in ldraw.ini\[LDraw]

Oh, is there already an Author key in the [LDraw Add-On] section? (I'm on holiday for the moment and can't check myself) If so, I can use that one instead. /Tore (...) (23 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: BrickDraw3D 1.0 coming soon

You can send me bug reports! Please also report which version of the program: In the Finder, Get Info, tell me either the version number (you should get 0.2) or the Created date (however if not version 0.2 from 7/2/01 the bug report is uncertain...) (...) (23 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad)

Jaco: (...) The easiest way is probably to try to install a package named "Mesa-devel". If it complains something is most likely missing. (...) I'm afraid I don't know enough about Mesa/GLUT to help here. Jacob (23 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad)

<whew> Wow. Downloaded all three of your "proof of concept" executables... Beautiful work. I'll try to figure out something else to say later... I'm kind of speechless. I had toyed with the idea of writing a Lego Cad application in Delphi a while (...) (23 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

OK, I got the linux-ldraw-library.tar.gz and extracted it! Great. It worked, all files are nicely in directories! (...) Where would I get these basic C development libraries? Or how can I check if they are there? (...) Right. I created the file (...) (23 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad)

How do I use MAYA or any other modelling program to create parts for MLCAD?

Hi, can anybody tell me how I can exchange files from different 3D modelling software to use as DAT files in MLCAD? Or where can I read about creating parts myself? Many thanks, Remko (23 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
