Used BMP2LDRAW32 to create this. This has be 'recreated' from a tiny scan, lot of free-hand pixel x pixel enlargement & 'clean up'. Original skin has 'gold' in place of yellow.   Re: Question about posting DAT files here

(...) Hoo, boy. Look at the existing official shield files for info about how to structure your files. There's a subfile line you can use to put the shield behind your pattern. Generally, yes, you'd post your dats to lugnet.cad.dat.parts. Just so (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Whoa. Take a chill, go read the TOS again, and consider cleaning up your attitude. Mladen did come on a bit strongly, but dang man, you've really exposed your inner child with this tantrum. Cheers, - jsproat (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.admin.general)

  Genuine LEGO part numbers

Hey, I didn't mean to upset you. And I certainly wasn't trying to sound intelligent. I was just trying to explain why I posted that first reply to your post. Sorry, I shouldn't have done that. Who am I to police LUGNET. As for my creations, what (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Helmet DAT file

One more thing. If you would have just been nice about it and said it explained things in a more civilized manner old this needless rambling would have been unnecesary and I would have just thanked you; but you had to be your usual nasty self. It's a matter of principle. If you can post something that has nothing to do with mecha, to a mecha group, then what stops everybody from doing. Lugnet.build.mecha was made for mecha discussion.   Question about posting DAT files here

I'm new to LDRAW/MLCad, and using BMP2LDRAW32 'created' some 'skins' for shields. I'm working on 'recreating' the shield patterns that are not (yet?) in the LDRAW parts list. My question - when I'm ready to post my DAT files here, should I post the (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.cad)
