Well if your useing MLcad, go to 'file' and select 'scan parts'. This will ask you if you want to add any new parts it finds to the directory. When I installed MLcad I had to do this twice before I had all the parts that were soposed to be there! (...) (23 years ago, 14-May-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

(...) Yes, a complete shortcut file should be created. A stub-file for the electrical wire has been submitted, you can use that in your shortcut. You should put the 'ferrit' (that's the electric leads, right?) in a separate file, and reference it in (...) (23 years ago, 14-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

I'm trying to build my first L-draw / MLcad model, and my first step was to use a 1x10 technic beam, and since my parts list only has 1x2 and 1x14, my virtual creation stopped before it started. I'll bet there is a simple way to convert the 1x14 (...) (23 years ago, 14-May-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

(...) Mklist.exe shouldn't need any fix. Are you sure you weren't trying to use makelist.exe? Makelist.exe is obsolete; it can only handle 1000 parts. Mklist.exe was released specifically to address the shortcomings of makelist.exe. Steve (23 years ago, 14-May-01, to lugnet.cad)
