This has been submitted to parts@ldraw.org. I've now added the optional lines - looking at other heads in the parts dir I could find no special handling of the optional lines depending no matter what the head pattern so I have used the same format. Since I noticed this uses bits of the only piece I ever made, I felt compelled to check it out. Looks nice. One thing though. I used the hires primitives in the p\48 subdirectory for 30056.dat. (...) Very cool! Looks quite nice, even in purple. ;) But there is one little detail that c/should be changed: don't use WRITE statement. Comments are fine, just leave off the WRITE. LDraw sees 0 WRITE as a command, and displays the comments each (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

This is a workaround and a little bit laborious, but it works fine on my German version of Bryce 4.0, even with a 23 Mbytes converted Lightwave-file. Well, there is 3062-old.dat that is very similar to yours. It is a little larger in diameter than yours. It is part of the official LCad update from 97-01. (...) (24 years ago, 6-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
