that shouldn't be too hard either. just operate the matrix on the points alone. if your cilinder has it's axle around the Y axle. L is the length of the cilinder and if it starts at 0 0 0 you could use (1-y/L) 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 (1-y/L) this would turn (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)

yes that idea would work very well. for example it would allow me to rotate xwing wings really easily! but programming side would be tough ill bet. but maybe set kind of "bone animation" which all parts linked to the special "bone" type of legs ( (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad)

Keep in mind that I know nothing about turing, html, computer, or anything of that type that requires neurons. I'm simply suggesting that this would be a cool feature that would make building and designing a lot easier. Make a kind of snap function (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad)

i thought you just had to multiply your matrix with something like 1 0 0 0 2 0 0 0 1 this would make Y 2 times as long. Not? (...) Tim, Color 24 in MLCAD was purposely made to be different that Dark Gray (8), the same way Color 16 is to be different from Light Gray (7). The problem is that it tends to make it them darker than both colors [7 & 8], leaving the Edge Color at (...) (24 years ago, 24-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Inspired by Shaun Sullivan's fantastic BR52 model I have managed to build a model of the same locomotive myself. Compared to Shaun's model mine is not intended to run over curved tracks. In addition to this I personally feel that the grey edge colour for black elements is too dark, it works for one black element but when you have a black model the joins become nearly invisible. Is it posible to create user defined custom colours (...) (24 years ago, 24-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
