Re: Torus primitive discussion. was( Updated Primitive - 1-8t0102 1/8 torus)

Does anyone have anything to say or add about the torus primitives? I have a few parts in process that use parts of a torus that can be finished up once we decide on a format and file name structure. Any comments are welcome. Some of the parts can (...) (24 years ago, 9-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Microfig-scale US Colonial Marines APC  [DAT]

Hey all, Just like what they drove in _Aliens_. This was going into my next microfig theme, but it's too small for the scale. Eyballing it against photos of the vehicle, its dimensions are very close -- perhaps someone can build a dropship to go (...) (24 years ago, 8-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Error in 2357.dat (or in LDGLite)

(...) Well it renders the same way in l3lab so it's a bug in the part. I think the problem is that the inside surface is missing.   Error in 2357.dat (or in LDGLite)  [DAT]

There seems to be an error in 2357.dat (or in LDGLite). It looks like the winding has been swapped for some of the sides, so the wrong surfaces are drawn. This is only visible in some special cases. When you render the example below with LDGLite (...) (24 years ago, 8-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: On the difficulty of making building instructions

I think I have a nice solution to the 3-dimensional movement. Depending on what side of the brick you mouse on, its movement is constrained. Style 1: you mouse on a brick's side, it's like you can only push or pull it in a straight line. Click on (...) (24 years ago, 8-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad)

Here's an idea I just tought of. If you make a blok with studs and studs* so you can either place a block freely or with it's stud* in a stud. just like in real life. It asures correct placement. Probably a dumb idea, but i'll hit send anyway. Koen (24 years ago, 7-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad)
