Re: "2001: A Lego Odyssey" - A New Lego Movie!

(...) Heck, it takes a while even with DSL... But well worth it. It's absolutely f***ing brilliant. :) I see everyone's now using my style of monolith. :) -- -Bones- = (URL) = NecroBones Enterprises (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: "2001: A Lego Odyssey" - A New Lego Movie!

Wow!.. It took forever to download (56k modem, slow connection, 2k/sec mostly) but worth well. It is very nicely done..:-) Selçuk (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: Line Thickness and Antialiasing in LdGLite 0.7.3

(...) Yes, more details would help. For instance, which direction is the offset: Forward, Up, Down, left, right? I'll have to try it out myself some more. If I remember correctly, I think I may have gotten better results with non-whole number (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: New Part: Panel 10 x 10 x 2 & 2/3 Corner Top

Interesting. Paul Easter has been working on (maybe released, I don't remember) this part, but with the number 30117. Where did the 30202 come from? Steve (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Is there some pov-ray friendly version of car wash brush part?

(...) Sorry, I don't have an algorithm or formula handy. Would the following steps work? The only 'magic' bit (for me) is finding a vector normal to two other vectors. That should be doable, I just don't know how to do it. Take endpoints P1 (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: January LDraw MOTM Competition

New to this forum, this is my first chance to vote for MOTM. It's too bad you don't have catagories because there are a couple of strong models here. Both the tractor and train are excellent models as well as the Patrol set of space ships. But the (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: 4.5 Volt straight track (p/n 3228), different versions ?

"Larry Pieniazek" <lpieniazek@mercator.com> wrote in message news:G6K5vr.IFK@lugnet.com... (...) posting (...) Good point. Follow-up posts don't bother me as much, since I use a newsreader, but they would muddy the .dat waters for web browsers. We (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Micromotor top too thick ?

Works fine now ! One of these days I'll learn how to create/modify parts... Is there something special to do so that these modifications are included in the next part update ? Thanks again, Philo (URL)Welcome. I think it should be fine now, although (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: POV difference in LDraw?

(...) There's been quite a bit written about the transformation matrix, in the LDraw FAQ and on this newsgroup. Can you be more specific about the problem you're having? Steve (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: "2001: A Lego Odyssey" - A New Lego Movie!

(...) Yes indeed! Very cool work, especially the psychedelic cascade of bricks! In other news: (URL) (24 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad.mlcad)
