Regarding a separate LCAD domain, why can't you simply make a sub-domain in ldraw.org like what was done with mlcad.ldraw.org? ((URL) that isn't possible, I heard from someone who said that some place offers domain names for about $15/year. I'll (...) (24 years ago, 18-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) from my measurements the thick part is 3LDU and the small part is 2 LDU. looking at 80.dat it looks like you have a length of 1.8 for the cilinder (which is probably more accurate), yet when placing 2 80's next to eachother (like in 78.dat) (...) (24 years ago, 18-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) The segments should overlap slightly, yes. Take a look at the 78.DAT, and you will see that the cylinders overlap a bit. This is to avoid "holes" when the hose is "bent". I was looking at part 80 to see if it could be used in my bend thingie program and compared to my own measurements , I thought that you had to overlap the small segment of this part in order to have the correct length. now, when looking at the (...) (24 years ago, 18-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
