(...) I just checked this part out on my PC and I'm afraid you're right. The grooves are only simulated with lines. Bummer! But not too difficult to fix, hee hee. Are the ridges (louvers) on the (3856) shutter just lines rather than triangular ridges/grooves? When I render this part in POV it appears as a smooth surface rather than having any grooves. That of course looks funny up close. And of course, a (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
