Re: I'm doing the revolving/"secret" door parts  [DAT]

(...) Nah, it's just a hidden door, with a frame. Just like any other door-in-frame assembly. Just my opinion, of course. (...) Hmm. This *could* call for a "~Moved to" file, but "~Moved to"'s have historically been caused by corrections within the (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Exaust Pipes,from 6561

(...) I've never seen any files for those pipes. They definitely aren't in the official parts library. Steve (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Does the classic space helmet exist?

(...) Yep, there are some unofficial versions. If you search (URL) for "classic space helmet", I think you'll find the links. Or look in the thread announcing Todd's Class Space Contest (over in lugnet.contests, I believe). I looked up the helmet (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Update online

As of last night the ldraw.org update has been online. Right now no major changes have been made, just the main page and some internal restructuring of a few others (mostly not visible). Also, the Reference page got a new paragraph, in preparation (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Bug in 1.99R1 on NT4 Workstation

I've got NT 4 Workstation, SP5 and I've got a problem with selecting parts using the mouse. With around 30 parts in the views if I try to "loop" around them with the mouse to select a group of them I sometimes get the following error: MLCAD.exe - (...)   Exaust Pipes, from 6561

Hi guys I need the pipe pieces from 6561. Have these been made? Where can I get them? Thanks Gary (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  request.

Could it be made that you can reload the models without having to reopen the file you're working on. And that it reloads even if it doesn't see new files? thank you Koen (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Does the classic space helmet exist?

I've seen some POV-Ray images with this piece in them so I was wondering if a dat file was in existence, even unofficial. I would appreciate it if anyone could tell if this part had been created or not. Travis Dickinson (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Part repost: chains1.dat [Lots of problems fixed]

(...) Yikes!!! Sorry, I didn't see your posting on this part before. I have been browsing Lugnet very quckly lately. (...) That's ok, I understand. I'm sorry I didn't get this to you sooner. (...) Yes sir! I just emailed them last night. (providing (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Can this be done easily?

I think the problem is again the part itself. To line up parts you need to have reference points where you can line up. LDraw parts do not have such points. The same thing is valid for intersecting parts. I'm sure it's possible to detect that parts (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

I hope you have submitted those primitives to Steve Bliss so they can become official. Much smaller file and a (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

mock-up of forestman cap (and/or toupee?)

(...) Sure. If you don't want to post the mock-up here, please send me a copy via email. Also, if you have a mock-up of the toupee, *PLEASE* send me a copy! I need that for so many minifig models, it ain't funny! Thanks, Franklin (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part : 2545 - Minifig Imperial Guard Hat

(...) Thanks. I know, that the _toupee_ has also been half complete for too long. That and the forestman cap which is done except for the complex area around the feather hole. LMK if a mockup without the feather hole would be of any interest. Chris (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

New Part : 2545 - Minifig Imperial Guard Hat  [DAT]

Re: I'm doing the revolving/"secret" door parts

(...) So, you're saying these should be of the "Door" CATEGORY, and not of the "Panel" CATEGORY? I'm not sure I agree, 'cuz this meta-part assembly is supposed to be a _wall_ (i.e., a panel) that just _happens_ to include a secret/revolving door. In (...)
