(...) Standard accepted practice in the parts authoring community is to *not* do this. That is, don't draw parts you don't actually have in front of you. That pic I posted is enough to tell that a part is "wrong" but not enough to tell that a part (...) (24 years ago, 25-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Actually, I'm drawing it from memory, which isn't working quite as well as I hoped it would (I've got the set that it's from, but it's in storage right now). Jamie (my 12yo son) discovered an interesting shape, using plate hinges. He built an octagonal shape, by putting hinge plates <part: 4275> and <part: 4276> onto a z-bracket <part: 6087>. He repeated this structure eight times, and fit it all (...) (24 years ago, 25-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)
