I'd like to propose an official license for the LDraw parts, I think this is something that has been mentioned before but we didn't get very far in the past. This is important now that there are plans to create am LDraw CD-ROM and I need this (...) (24 years ago, 17-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev) !

Well, why don´t you raytrace the models? Use POV-Ray or try Lightwave for it. For use Lightwave, you need a converter to convert from *.DAT to *.LWO. (...) A cool element would be a 16x16x4 part which is intended to support a baseplate. 4 of them of course would be used to support a 32x32 baseplate. The part would have a flat top (but it could be lacy to reduce weight, it just needs to be strong (...) (24 years ago, 16-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

Probably off-topic, but I just wanted to tell that there is an LDS command called PIPE. You can build a static tubing by entering a series of "discs", or rather 4-4edges. LDS then fills the space between them a thus makes a pipe. Just a nonsense (...) (24 years ago, 16-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad)

I had downloaded Emacs and ldraw-mode about two weeks ago. I was at a loss as to what to do next until I found the article you wrote on Lugnet. Now that I have ldraw-mode working, I'm curious about the number that needs to be inputted for the tube (...) (24 years ago, 16-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad)
