  new part/mock-up - 32083.dat - slope 45 4x6 double (mock-up)  [DAT]

Howdy! I was encoding my modification of the B-wing fighter when I discovered that this part hadn't been encoded yet, so I did a quick-and-dirty mock-up of it. If anyone out there who is realtively new to Lego CAD wants to try their hand at encoding (...) (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Troubles with MLCAD

Hi, I am a relatively new user of MLCAD, and have run into some very annoying problems. I started building my model, and went merrily on my way until I came to a shaft with several gears and bushings on it. I decided to group these items, because I (...)   inner workings of the old-style cannon

I dissassembled one of the old-style cannons (the kind with the black plunger which, on earlier models, could be pulled back) by pressing in the two small clips on the sides of tthe barrel. the contents are such: 1 base piece (with the mold number, (...) Ack phooey The number on the white headdress sprue is 6029, *NOT* 8029.   A Happy Linux LeoCad User

All: I just installed LeoCad 0.71.2 under Red Hat 6.2 (Linux 2.2.12-20) with Mesa 3.2.1. I'm running on some fairly old hardware -- a 90MHz Pentium and an unaccelerated #9 GPX64-Pro w/2MB of video RAM. Mouse based operations are a little on the (...) (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

Re: [updated] new lcad part - small feather/plume (castle/pirates)

(...) <snip> Looks pretty good to me - well done. Similar parts on sprues (like the 5 tools 6246.dat) have been numbered using a single letter suffix 9999a.dat, 9999b.dat etc. I guess I should now put some effort into finishing the forestmen cap, (...)   Re: an unusual request...

(...) With there no visible number on the sprue, I'd say just go with numbering them P1, P2, P3, or some such thing, if you can put letters into the number. At least until you can find an official number. --Anthony (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  A couple of bug/feature notes

Hi Mike! When you input orientation/location info using the dialog box (accessed via the icon on the edit toolbar), the text boxes accept decimal data, but when you hit "Okay" the data is rounded back into integers. (...) Hmmm....after thoroughly examining a feather wheel for about 5 minutes or so, I can find no such number...strange, there's one on almost every other lego item.... -Chris (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) While the setup of this part is not the best style, there are many parts already in the library with similar designs. It's kind of a middling quality thing.
