Hi, I am a relatively new user of MLCAD, and have run into some very annoying
problems. I started building my model, and went merrily on my way until I came
to a shaft with several gears and bushings on it. I decided to group these
items, because I wanted to uses the same shaft/gears combination elsewhere in
the model. As I kept building the model, I made several more groups for the
other shafts and gears. I saved the file and decided to work on it again
later. To my dismay, when I opened the file again, the groups were completely
missing! Everything I put in the model was there except for the shafts and
gears! WHY DID THAT HAPPEN??? Another thing I did (which I thought would
simplify matters) was to create several sub-models with the intention of
building them seperately and then putting them together later. Unfortunately,
when I created a new sub-model to try and put all of my other sub-models into
it, it wouldn't work! I did exactly what I was supposed to do: create a new
sub-model, and then drag the other sub-models from the document tree. I tried
the same procedure with a much simpler model, and it worked fine! WHY CAN'T I
GROUP TOGETHER SEVERAL RELATIVELY COMPLEX SUB-MODELS IN ANOTHER SUB-MODEL????
I appreciate any help you can offer,
Rob
