The sounds like a good idea. However you should check your settings, and see if the Position for new part is not centered, and the draw to selection only option is disabled .... this slows down very much. Thanks, Michael Adam Howard (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Hi Mike! I've been working on a large model and have run into the slowwwiiiinnnnggg-dowwn wall. Whenever I add a new piece or rotate a selected one it seems to take forever. I'm not sure, but I believe it is because MLCAD re-renders the whole model (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

(...) I only added lines #6 - 36 -- all the color 24's were there before. Whoops, I see what happened now. When I ran it through LDAO's inliner (see below), it changed all the type-5 lines to type 4. I just now changed the pseudo-4's back into real (...) (24 years ago, 14-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Actually, it didn't look so good in L3Lab -- because L3Lab balked at using color 24. A totally different approach would be to construct a subfile, which would contain one segment of ribbing. Then use the subfile to build the ribbed section of (...) (24 years ago, 14-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
