(...) I could be misremembering or just mistaken, but I believe the problem is with the extra spaces around the filename on subfile references. LEdit cannot handle *editing* lines like: 1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 somepart.dat But it should not (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

I have written a program called L3DView which allows you to view LDraw models in real-time 3D via OpenGL. The program is available from: (URL) supports both .DAT and .MPD files. AFAIK the only pieces still missing from the 8880 are the wheels and tyres, the gear stick and shift plate and the stickers and decorated elements. If you have finished these parts and are looking for something else to do, dont bother with the 8448 (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
