Thanks for the kind words, Cyndi. Emerge has actually had a very good
response- I think its just that Brickfest, Brickshelf, and our other forms of
sharing having a different center of attention.
There have been a few occasions where people have seen it and- even in the
presence of a really massive monumetal works of other people- made an
unsolicited comment of appreciation. That has given me a really good feeling
not because I’m looking for a pat on the back, but because I’m exposing a
very personal aspect of myself. So to hear others just say “I get it” is
enough.
You’ve been very encouraging to me not only in building, but also as an
experienced scientist. Consider the third version yours as my thanks.

I do get it, I think (hope) most people do. And I’m glad to hear that you’ve had
a good response from others that is satisfying to you. Thanks for your
offer....how could I possibly say no? But you don’t have to do that, I would be
more than happy to help financially support your art. You could probably do
pretty well with a table at the Brick Bazaar ;) I’m looking forward to seeing
you at Brickfest this year, glad that you’ll be there. Cyndi
