  Re: Photoshop Plugin: Flexify

(...) I did some looking up of my own and found this. (URL) I recently had one of those "dud stupid" self realizations concering a creation I've been working on that could use this but with a hitch- it's not exactly a sphere I need but what's termed (...)   Re: large MOC: camel w/rider

(...) You mean the lady on top was not as challenging as the camel? She is just amazing all covered in tiny plates. (Having seen some of your other sculptures I recall you are pretty good at that.) The back of her head is incredible the way the (...) (21 years ago, 5-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: large MOC: camel w/rider

Judy, Just saw this on Brickshelf. Beautiful! I especially like the camel's head and the blanket. I think this is my favorite of your creations except maybe the phoenix. Bruce (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: large MOC: camel w/rider

(...) Wow, that's really beautiful. Your use of slopes to soften the edges and blockiness of the bricks is really well done. Adrian (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  large MOC: camel w/rider

I've been working on and off since last October on a camel with rider, dimensions 8"w x 22"l x 30" high. I thought a camel would be a challenge because the legs are so spindly; this is the first piece I've built with a Technic armature (mostly a (...)   Re: Photoshop Plugin: Flexify

(...) Lloyd just pointed me to this directory with globe files: (URL) cool stuff! He tells me he's working on the LDraw output code now. :-) -Tim (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: Photoshop Plugin: Flexify

Here's a quick example of what can be done with Flexify. (URL) asked Lloyd for the PSD of this (I've seen it on his laptop), but haven't heard back just yet. Thanks to muchelchupser@web.de [1] for pointing it out to me. -Tim [1] I am not going to (...) (21 years ago, 3-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Photoshop Plugin: Flexify

I met a guy named Lloyd Burchill at SIGGRAPH, he stopped by the LEGO booth and came to the LDraw Birds of a Feather talk held Tuesday. He wrote a Photoshop plugin that takes an image and wraps it around a globe, then 'LEGOizes' it by outputting (...) (21 years ago, 3-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.general)

Re: New MOC: Sphere (6.8 Stud Diameter)

(...) This is at once one of the coolest and funniest things I've ever seen in LEGO. Your sphere looks really good. I've seen it before but I'm really looking at it now. Going to be very useful. AND..on top of that having the designers use your (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Sphere (6.8 Stud Diameter)

I looked at this a while back, then saw the one at LLCA, then I decided I'm going to build a building that had tan Domes on the top, with smaller cone sticking out of the top (not gonna say what its for, its a secret), But there were no useable (...)   Finally, an update to my Brickshelf folder.

G'day all, Well, it's taken a while, but I've finally gotten around to updating my Brickshelf folder. It now has a new section: Sculptures (hence the x-post).   Re: Another Classic Space Figure

  Re: Another Classic Space Figure

Ooo.. I like (and I'm flattered to see I inspired someone). I would have preferred to make mine in black, but black's very difficult to photograph. Oh yeah.. I'm still working on my ray gun and flag, so hopefully I'll have updates by the end of the (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.sculpture)
