Northwest Artifact wins Best of Show at NWBrickCon 2006 —Wayne R. Hussey
Here are a few pics of my Northwest Artifact (Totem Pole). It is 6 feet tall, has a 7-1/2 foot wingspan and uses about 20,000 bricks and plates.      (...) WOW! It deserved the win! I thought you were being sarcastic about the plywood and staples until I looked through your Brickshelf folder - neat idea!    (...) Thanks, Anne. I have no idea where this one will go. I've managed to get the Ferry Boat on display at a Maritime Museum; the Smith Tower fits okay in our living room; but the Totem is still an orphan. I'll keep looking. Wayne (18 years ago, 21-Oct-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)
