The 'pins' (axle-2) are used only to 'glue' the front face 'sheet' to the wing
base 'sheet'. There is enough tension/compression that it is extremely unlikely
to come apart without intent. The axles (captured 3-1/2 w/stud) on the staples
are only used to hold the staples against the wings. The staples' geometry
handle the cantilever support. Once they are in place the whole has a broad
enough footprint base to stand on its own. I used the overlap of the chest plate
to assure it's stability. The chest assembly also holds the back piece in place
interlocking everything nicely.
