Hello LEGO fans, Last weekend, members from a Singapore Lego Fan Group, S0937FG, came together to recreate 2 quarants of the Roman Colosseum out of LEGO bricks. The installation was done on-site in the Asian Civilisation Museum(ACM),Singapore.The (...) (...) The Lego software does in fact only give the outline on a lego grid rather than where each brick goes. It works pretty good most of the time. It depends on what the sculpture is going to be used for. If it will be on display where random people will touch it you'll probably want to have a metal skeleton within. For the 5'6" (URL) angel sculpture> I got away with it being exactly 2 bricks (...) (19 years ago, 2-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

(...) Hey, I am not sure about MLCAD type stuff as I have never used it. But the Lego company uses a program called Legoizer (although I think it has changed names since I left the company). Hi Ryan, All my sculptures are small (2 feet or smaller) because my husband doesn't want me to build anything bigger than the dogs ;) Seriously, I don't know how you would do that with MLCad (I find LeoCAD very difficult to use IMHO), because most (...) Ondrew, I was somehow deeply moved when I first viewed your sculpture this afternoon. As Mark said, I immediately thought of the 9/11 tribute, specifically in my case it brought to mind some of the renderings of proposed WTC replacements. Your (...)
