Re: Lego Mosaic - Build Your Own - Gone?

Re: Lego Mosaic - Build Your Own - Gone?

(...) Were you planning on making your application public? I'd love to see it in action. The grayscale mosaic I made (URL) had to do everything via resizing with photoshop. It would have been nice to have a tool to help out. (And I'd love to see tlc (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

Re: Lego Mosaic - Build Your Own - Gone?

Here is the giant Legolas mosaic (12 panels) I am (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

Re: Lego Mosaic - Build Your Own - Gone?

(...) I emailed s@h and got this reply pretty quickly: Thank you for your interest in the LEGO Mosaic. The ability to produce a customized LEGO Mosaic has been available on our website since approximately July of 2000. It has been a fun, popular way (...) So no bricks there :( (URL) the one in the Macy*s Thanksgiving day parade was made up with fake oversized Lego parts. Here is one of the few (...)   Wow... check out this parade float!!

I got this from someone posting at the forums of a game site. (Thanks Darth Mawl) That must have taken FOREVER to build. Probably glued, too. (URL) (22 years ago, 29-Jan-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.sculpture)

Re: Ringo the Cat: my first attempt at LEGO sculpture

I took a set of photos with a plain white background first, but it didn't capture the white (...) (22 years ago, 29-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)
