Lifesize human sculptures for Space Gallery

(2 URLs) I've been a haven't posted much to Lugnet recently, but I've been busy. I think it's worth the wait... I did three large pieces for (URL) Space Gallery> in downtown Seattle.   Seahorse Sculpture

(2 URLs) Kinda funny what gets us inspired. I've been working on a sea mosiac for a commission, and this is something I wanted to do for myself. I'm thinking about adding some coral around him, and making more of an ocean scene. LMKWYT! :) -Anne (18 years ago, 26-May-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

Large-scale promo sculpture of Viking minifig

I found this on BrickShelf from someone's coverage of LEGOWORLD 2005. Looks like an official LEGO Master Builder put together this sculpture of a viking minifig as a promotion for the new line of sets. (URL) the image for an even larger version) (...)   Re: 3 life-size human busts built for Herman Miller "See magazine"

I'd actually tend to agree :) I worked from a profile photo of a real woman... in the photo she was heavily made up (eyeliner, lipstick, etc), and it wasn't until well after I was a ways into the model that I stepped back and realized how (...)   Re: 3 life-size human busts built for Herman Miller "See magazine"

(...) Hey Sean! Pretty nice work! Although I have to say the red one looked like a guy with a ponytail and a moustache. I was pretty surprised it was supposed to be a woman! Still, nice work! Bill Vollbrecht <www.brickcreations.com> (18 years ago, 3-May-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

3 life-size human busts built for Herman Miller "See magazine"

Hi again, everybody! Back in February I was asked to build three life-size monochromatic human busts. Felix: (...) This is so great! I love the expression, the eyes, teeth, and head shape are just perfect. And rowboats for shoulders! I love it! He looks like the rabbit from Wallace and Gromit's latest film - and I really like the look on the face - the nuanced emotions you can get from your sculptures is simply amazing! (...) Thanks for the kind words. I'm happy with the paws especially. I often want just one piece to serve a purpose but don't want to add a lot to make it stay in place. (19 years ago, 18-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Ohhhh.... it is so cute... Can I hug it? Seriously Felix, where is the pilot? There is a minifig inside, right? I can't find the engines, where the heck are they? Thanks for sharing, JP. (19 years ago, 17-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  MOC: The Rabbit

(2 URLs) The Rabbit> (Post Mod) I've been out of the habit of posting MOCs, but thought this was timely. The idea was actually independent of the season.   Alien Fish

This is a fish that I was working on yesterday. Just to re-iterate what is already on BS and MOCPages, the only reason I called it an "alien" fish is because it has an odd, thruster-like attachment on its tail. The only reason for that is that I (...) (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Leggo My LEGO EGGO!

We've all heard it all our lives (most of us anyway), "Leggo my Eggo!" Here is a LEGO EGGO waffle. The idea just kinda came to me suddenly and I had to build it. (...) Michael: If this were a LEGO fan-related event, what you've suggested would be fine... but in this case I don't think it would be a good idea.   Re: LEGO Gortons' Fisherman, coming to a supermarket near you

Great work Sean, I don't know how many know this but the "Glouchester Fisherman" (Pernounced "Gloster" of A Perfect Storm fame) is the origional inspiration for Gorton's Fisherman. Gorton's is based in Glouchester Massachusetts. Make one in Sand (...) (19 years ago, 17-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture)
