If this were a LEGO fan-related event, what you’ve suggested would be fine... but in this case I don’t think it would be a good idea.

The models are part of a tour called “Meet the Gorton’s Fisherman”, which is not LEGO-centric. (Folks can have their picture taken with the real -- human -- Gorton’s Fisherman, get a free Fisherman toy, and see the LEGO model.) As far as I know, my models will just be sitting casually on tabletops amongst their other happenings.

I don’t know that Gortons would appreciate additional LEGO fanfare, since it would put emphasis on LEGO, distracting from their main message (“eat Gortons food”). :)

(...) PennLUG members will be in the Harrisburg/york/lancaster areas and I know of several who are looking forward to seeing them (myself included) and will snap a few pics. Question-- Would it be bad form to see about setting up a table in the (...) (19 years ago, 19-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture)
