  Re: MOC: The Rabbit

(...) OMG I LOVE IT!!!! How cute is that??? He is just devine, adorable, is he made of chocolate? Can I eat him... ;) He is completely sweet! I wish I could see the brickshelf pictures :( Thanks for sharing! Mel (19 years ago, 16-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  MOC: The Rabbit

(2 URLs) The Rabbit> (Post Mod) I've been out of the habit of posting MOCs, but thought this was timely. The idea was actually independent of the season. I've got some tricky SNOT going on here (notice the floating paws). I'll update the folder (...) (19 years ago, 16-Apr-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX) !!

  Alien Fish

This is a fish that I was working on yesterday. Just to re-iterate what is already on BS and MOCPages, the only reason I called it an "alien" fish is because it has an odd, thruster-like attachment on its tail. The only reason for that is that I (...) (19 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Leggo My LEGO EGGO!

(...) much has been said on the tastiness of this moc, and if it was in front of me now I would be tempted to taste it. toys should not bring on such compulsions, what sort of voodoo have you done! cheers, Joseph (19 years ago, 27-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Leggo My LEGO EGGO!

(...) Shouldn't this be titled Leggo My LEGO EGGO By LeGogh?! The clear plates over brown are very effective for the syrup. Fun model! (19 years ago, 26-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Leggo My LEGO EGGO!

That is an excellent waffle, I don't think I have ever seen anyone do this before. Have you seen these yet? (URL) job! Josh (19 years ago, 25-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Leggo My LEGO EGGO!

We've all heard it all our lives (most of us anyway), "Leggo my Eggo!" Here is a LEGO EGGO waffle. The idea just kinda came to me suddenly and I had to build it. I think I wanna add bacon, eggs, juice, etc... (2 URLs) Here> is the MOCpages page. (...) (19 years ago, 25-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.org.us.lugola, FTX) !!

  A Playmate For My Spider

About a year ago I built a spider ((URL)). He seemed a bit lonely, so I build him a playmate. (2 URLs) I'm not sure how well the relationship is working out. The spider seems a bit agressive....   Re: LEGO Gortons' Fisherman, coming to a supermarket near you

(...) Michael: If this were a LEGO fan-related event, what you've suggested would be fine... but in this case I don't think it would be a good idea. The models are part of a tour called "Meet the Gorton's Fisherman", which is not LEGO-centric. (...) (19 years ago, 19-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Re: LEGO Gortons' Fisherman, coming to a supermarket near you

(...) PennLUG members will be in the Harrisburg/york/lancaster areas and I know of several who are looking forward to seeing them (myself included) and will snap a few pics. Question-- Would it be bad form to see about setting up a table in the (...) (19 years ago, 19-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

Re: LEGO Gortons' Fisherman, coming to a supermarket near you

(...) Hello Sean, I'll be able to get to the Lancaster County (PA) markets on March 12 and/or 18. I'll get a few shots for ya! Patrick (19 years ago, 18-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Re: LEGO Gortons' Fisherman, coming to a supermarket near you

Great work Sean, I don't know how many know this but the "Glouchester Fisherman" (Pernounced "Gloster" of A Perfect Storm fame) is the origional inspiration for Gorton's Fisherman. Gorton's is based in Glouchester Massachusetts. Make one in Sand (...) (19 years ago, 17-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

Re: LEGO Gortons' Fisherman, coming to a supermarket near you

(...) Wow! I bet you never thought you'd see a relative of yours rendered in LEGO. :) That's a pretty weird coincidence. (...) It was usually very strange to have these guys all over the place, staring blankly off into space. (Or staring at you!) (...) (19 years ago, 16-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Re: LEGO Gortons' Fisherman, coming to a supermarket near you

(...) Thanks, Spencer! Yes, the angle did make it a bit more challenging... I'm not happy with how some parts came out (his extended arm is a little stiff looking) but overall I think everything mostly works. There's almost nothing symmetrical in (...)   Re: LEGO Gortons' Fisherman, coming to a supermarket near you

(...) Holy cow Brendan, that's amazing. That's one factoid that never appeared in the About the Author page in the Brick Testament books! To Sean: These are great models. I suspect these were tougher to build than they might look due to the angle (...) (19 years ago, 16-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Re: LEGO Gortons' Fisherman, coming to a supermarket near you

Wow, Sean, great job on sculptures! I have to say I feel a special connection to this project because my great uncle was the Gorton's Fisherman. In fact, my grandfather's brother, (URL) Addison Powell>, may be the face that many of you remember as (...) (19 years ago, 15-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)
