Thanks much! To be honest it didn’t cost quite the fortune some may think. It was pricey, but it only cost me about $15 for all the cheese slopes I purchased, and I didn’t use them all. I’ve used half cylinders before on my streamlined Dreyfuss Hudson “Tequila Sunrise,” it works well. Ben is directly responsible for inspiring me to build my previous pacific class 7-wide, and because of that, this one as well. I’ve been wanting to do a European style steamer for a while, time will tell if I ever do it.

I’ve no real desire to do an electric locomotive, no offense to their fans but I find them, in general, to be boring and rather ugly. As far as diesels, there are many and much more talented builders who’ve been doing a fantastic job representing diesels (and electrics), so I don’t feel there’s anything I could build that wouldn’t be pathetic by comparison. However, after building LEGO’s BNSF I’ve thought about modifying it to match a company I grew up with around my neighborhood.

Thanks again!
